The Problem
Getting a side project online usually means setting up build tooling, storage, DNS, and a server by hand. That setup takes longer than the project itself, and every manual step is a chance for a broken deploy.
What I Built
Isolated Builds
Every deployment runs in its own ECS Fargate task from a builder image stored in ECR: clone, build, upload the dist output to S3.
Queued Orchestration
The HTTP server creates the deployment record and hands it to a BullMQ queue. A worker launches the build and updates the status to READY or FAIL when it finishes.
Live Build Logs
The builder publishes logs to Redis Pub/Sub so users watch the build as it happens over WebSockets. Logs are also appended to Redis lists for later viewing.
Subdomain Routing
A reverse proxy reads the subdomain from the request host, maps it to the project's folder in S3, and serves index.html at the root.
